✅ Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kiwi PDF apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac (the "App"), the web editor and account pages at kiwipdf.org, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Kiwi PDF ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

📱 License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the store you obtained it from
• Use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes
• Access and use the features made available to you, including Premium features while your Premium access is active

This license does not include the right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Kiwi PDF.

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If you obtained it from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

👤 Your Kiwi PDF Account

An account is optional. You can use the App and buy Premium without one. An account lets you use your Premium access on all your devices. If you create an account:

• You must provide a valid email address that you control and keep your information accurate.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at contact@kiwipdf.org if you suspect unauthorized use.
• You may not create accounts by automated means, share an account for commercial resale of Premium, or use someone else's account without permission.

You can delete your account at any time in the App (Settings → your account → Delete account) or at kiwipdf.org/account. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately. It does not cancel subscriptions billed by Apple or Google — see below.

⭐ Premium & Subscriptions

Some features are available only with Premium. Premium is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (for example monthly or yearly). The current plans, prices and any introductory offer are shown in the App before you buy.

Billing and renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account (App Store) or Google account (Google Play) when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a plan includes a free trial or introductory price, it converts to the regular price shown at purchase unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or introductory period ends.

Managing and cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App or your Kiwi PDF account does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by them under their own policies. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google through your Google Play order history. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.

Restoring and using Premium on other devices

You can restore an App Store or Google Play subscription on another device signed in to the same store account using "Restore" in the App. When you sign in to the same Kiwi PDF account on another device, your Premium access can be used there too, on platforms where Kiwi PDF accounts are available. Premium granted by us — for example through a promotion or voucher — lasts for the period stated when it is granted and does not renew automatically.

Changes to prices and features

Prices may change. Apple and Google will notify you of a price increase before it applies to your subscription, as required by their rules. We may add, change or improve Premium features over time.

You also may not: (a) decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the App; (b) remove or alter any proprietary notices; (c) use the App to develop a competing product or service; (d) impersonate any person or entity; (e) obtain Premium through fraudulent purchases, chargebacks or invalid vouchers; or (f) interfere with the proper functioning of the Service or our servers.

The App, including all software, design, graphics, text, and other content (excluding your own documents), is owned by Kiwi PDF and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The "Kiwi PDF" name and logo are trademarks of Kiwi PDF. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, modify, and incorporate that Feedback into our products without any obligation to you.

📂 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all PDF documents and content you create, import, or annotate using Kiwi PDF ("Your Content").

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use Your Content
• Your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Your Content does not violate any applicable law or regulation
• You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of Your Content

Kiwi PDF processes your documents on your device (or in your browser for the web editor). We do not access, view, or store Your Content on our servers, and your account does not back up your documents. You are responsible for keeping backups of your files.

🔗 App Stores & Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchases made there are also subject to the terms of that store. The Service relies on third-party services such as Google Firebase (crash reporting and analytics in the mobile apps), Cloudflare (servers and website) and an email delivery provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

Additional terms for the Apple App Store

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and Kiwi PDF only, not Apple. Kiwi PDF, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App, its maintenance and support, and for addressing any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual property claims). If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party services and we do not endorse any third-party services linked from within the App.

⚠️ Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions
• Annotations or exports will render identically in all third-party PDF viewers

Use of the Service is at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data that results from use of the Service.

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KIWI PDF AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data, documents, or annotations
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Device damage or malfunction
• Unauthorized access to your files
• Any other damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE, INCLUDING SUBSCRIPTIONS, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

🛑 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service if you violate these Terms, commit purchase fraud, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the App and, if you have one, deleting your account. Termination does not cancel subscriptions billed by Apple or Google; cancel them in your store account settings. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to termination.

Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms immediately ceases. Sections on Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination.

🌐 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which Kiwi PDF operates.

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

🔄 Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and inform you in the App or by email if you have an account.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription in your store account settings.
